Henry Reyes most recently served as the Vice President, SPEROS FL Finance and Chief
Commercial Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center where he led the funding plans and marketing efforts
to recruit health care, biotech, academic and research institutions as part of developing the 775-
acre life sciences campus. He was previously VP for the Strategic Alliances team, which focuses on
partnering with providers, hospitals, health systems and research/pharma ventures to develop
long-term relationships that broaden Moffitt's reach and offer enhanced access to National Cancer
Institute-designated services and expertise.
Prior to joining Moffitt, Reyes spent 13 years with J.P. Morgan Securities as a managing director in
the Public Finance Investment Banking Group serving clients in Florida and Puerto Rico; five years
as national head of public finance with Raymond James and Associates and 15 years with
Citigroup. He has led the structuring and capital raising plans for over $70 billion in financings
for
health care systems, infrastructure projects, academic institutions, insurance companies,
economic development agencies and public sector enterprises. He was also a member of analytic
teams executing health care financings, acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and valuations
nationally. He has extensive experience working with local and state government agencies in similar
capacities.
His previous experience includes practicing as a CPA with Ernst & Young and serving as an internal
consultant to Cigna Inc.
Reyes earned his bachelor's degree in accounting with high honors from the University of Florida
and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania.
